The Orange Approach to a Workout: Indoor Rowing

All our revolutionary fitness program demands of you is one hour of your time. The remaining 23 are yours to spend as you see fit.

There's no need to spend the whole day burning fat and toning your muscles. An hour of specialized training can make significant strides to a fitter you. Our fitness centers have developed their own programs with the one-hour workout in mind.

One notable component of the plan is indoor rowing. This intense cardio routine puts both your upper and lower body into a sweat-breaking endurance exercise. Depending on weight and time spent rowing, a person can burn more than 300 calories with this exercise. The routine gets harder the longer you do it.

Fortunately, there are some helpful ways to tackle indoor, improve and maximize your rowing regimen. One rowing routine, as reported by Men's Health, involves rowing with music, preferably songs that play between 150 and 180 beats per minute. Organize and play 30 minutes worth of motivational tunes, warm up with the first song, and start rowing on the second. Don't forget to row harder during the choruses.

You can choose from your own collection of songs, but there are several websites that offer free rowing tunes like Pandora, Grooveshark or Milk (for Samsung devices). Classics like the thee from Rockey can really get your intensity up and help motivate and push you to new levels in your workout.
